Selected work from 2012 to 2016 which includes a film for Sky showcasing a key addition to their Osterley campus, an ad campaign for Malta Tourism, as well as DP work on the Emmy nominated Hubble’s Cosmic Journey and a series of short docs for New London Architecture showing a range of recent developments that are changing the Capital’s skyline, as well as a long-running series of short docs for The National Geographic Channel on travel, conservation and CSR in Southern Africa.

LONDON’S BUILT ENVIRONMENT

Architectural historian and writer Peter Murray presents half a dozen short films on some of the largest civil engineering projects in the Capital. The docs explore major infrastructure schemes like the Elizabeth Line and the Thames Tideway Project as well as the recent creation of whole new areas likes those at Kings Cross and around Battersea Power Station. The films accompany a 20 metre wide interactive model of the city on permanent display in central London. NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL SPONSORED CONTENT

A long running series that follow National Geographic photographers, filmmakers and explorers discovering lesser known parts of Southern Africa. Episodes include mountaineer Jimmy Chin, under water specialist Heather Perry, caving photographer Steven Alverez, biodiversity loss campaigner Joel Sartore, as well as Nat Geo Explorer In Residence Lee Berger studying new findings at The Cradle of Humankind in SA’s Gauteng Provence. The series went on to feature National Geographic filmmaker Shannon Wild visiting the gem stone mining company Gemfields in Mozambique, to see how their various CSR projects, including schools, mobile health centres and wildlife sanctuaries, are impacting the local region. HUBBLE’S COSMIC JOURNEY

Two part doc for the National Geographic Channel, directed by Chris Riley, that follow the story of the Hubble Space Telescope, from its disastrous beginnings to its triumphant recovery after a technical solution was found to its flawed optics. The film, which features revealing interviews from all the key players in the project, was nominated for an Emmy.
